Merry Christmas

This Christmas was a lot of fun. We started out on Christmas Eve by seeing the new Bond movie with Matt's family. It's their tradition to see a movie together and then have Chinese food so we ate at Pei Wei after the movie.....Yea! I love that place. We then drove down to Matt's parents house in Eagle Mountain. When everyone got there we exchanged gifts. Matt got a chocolate fountain and Matt's sister quilted me a table runner for Valentine's day. I also got a movie and a book. We then played games, watched movies and had snacks to eat. Matt and I decided to spend the night at his parent's house and spend Christmas morning with everyone.

We went to bed at midnight and slept (if you could call it that) on his parent's futon. Needless to say we didn't sleep much and ended up watching TV until his sister's family came over at 6 am. We opened presents until about 8:30 that morning. It was a lot of fun being with a lot of people on Christmas morning.


We then got dressed and headed to my parents house for breakfast. It was snowing pretty badly and it was kinda scary driving, but we made it! Everyone from my family made it to breakfast, which is quite rare. We ate and then exchanged gifts. It was a mad house with all the presents and wrapping paper everywhere, but a lot of fun!

Matt and I were whipped and headed home at about 1:00 pm. We napped, watched a couple of our new movies, and had my parents come by to visit and see what Santa brought us. It was a great couple of days. It's so much fun to spend time with family and really focus on the important things in life. Merry Christmas everybody!
