Yeah Vacation!

We do not go on very many vacations, but the one we ALWAYS plan to go on and look forward to every year is our trip to Bear Lake with my parents, siblings, and all of the grandkids. We were especially excited since this would be our first year with our own little one. We were very curious to see how she would be and we were very pleasantly surprised.

This is right where you pull out of the Logan Canyon. You can see the lake from here. Kate was very desperate to get out of the car so we took advantage enjoyed the view.

My parents bought a new inflatable to pull behind the boat. It was also used as a recreational device out of the water as well!

We really enjoyed the water this year. It came all the way up to our ramp so we didn't have to trek it down there in the mud with all the bugs.

Thursday afternoon we all went over to the swimming pool at the condo. This was kate's very first time in a swimming pool and she LOVED it! It was so fun to watch her splash around. She didn't even mind getting her face and head all wet.

After the pool we went for a boat ride. The three of us were spoiled and got a ride out to the boat on the raft. We didn't even have to get wet! Having a baby has it's advantages :)

Katie wasn't too sure about the life jacket. She couldn't even move. She struggled at first, but then gave up.

We were very surprised that kate didn't mind the cold lake. She walked right in and started splashing around. She let me put her all the way in up to her chest.
