October So Far

So now that we have Kate, practically all of my posts are about her. I can't help it - my life revolves around her! She has really grown this past month. Yes, 1 month is all! It's so crazy.

She started walking (I will have to do a post about that shortly), saying a few words like "pretty" and "woof," pointing to body parts like her nose, hair, teeth, and eyes, and she will actually give kisses. Oh so cute. She is very cuddly - she always has been - but it is even funner when she will come over and sit in my lap. She also likes to "help" us do things like turning light switches on/off, pushing the garage door button, closing/opening doors, and throwing clothes in the washing machine. She gets so excited and is so proud of herself when she does these things. She will sometimes clap after she does them, of course with a huge smile on her face.

Look at her stand so big! she wanted to walk, but those dang shoes were in the way :)

The past few weeks she has really gotten into stuffed animals and loves to take them with her when she toddles around the house. She now has a really difficult time going to sleep without one with her.

This is her being snuggly after her naps. She will sometimes just lay on your shoulder awake for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Today my mom took the girsl and 13 grandkids to Thanksgiving Point. The little ones went to the Barnyard Boo and the older ones went to the Cornbellys Corn Maze. It was quite fun. The animals were definitely the highlight. this particular cow kept trying to eat things...like my niece's dress!

Pointing to the horseys

My mom brought snacks...twinkies and juice boxes. Yum. We had so much fun. Thanks mom!

This is out of order, but Matt, Kate and I went to Wheeler Farm the beginning of October (excuse the t-shirt and jeans - it was a lazy Saturday). It's funny how much she LOVES animals. I love this place. Free!

Bunnies

Goats (I think)

Cows

She LOVED petting the cow. I LOVED watching her pet the cow. So cute!
