Kate Turns 1

On October 25th Kate turned the big ONE! I hope it was a great few days for her and that she could feel how special she is to everyone in her life. After work I picked Kate up from Aunt Lindsey's (I know she had lots of fun with playing with her cousins) and went to the store to get her some balloons. She loved them! I was watching her in my little mirror on the way home and she kept hitting them.

We came home, had some dinner and played until Dad came home.

We then headed to the pumpkin patch. I had never been to one before and it was lots of fun. this cute little patch is right next to our church on 10th West.

She loved trying to pick them all up.

Qhen we were done we headed back up to the front. She fell in love with this tiny little pumpkin.

And wouldn't let go!

It honestly was pretty gross, but because she was quite smitten with it, we had to get it. She hugged it all the way home.

It then was bath and bed time, but before she went to sleep for the night we played with her balloons for a while.  This is her favorite little hiding place.
