Hawkins Christmas Party

Every Christmas Eve the Hawkins family gets together for festivities starting with a movie.  We had to skip it this year unfortuantely because Matt was working and I was pretty sure Kate + Movie = not much fun so we all met for lunch at Pei Wei.  After lunch we headed over to Matt's parents house where we visited for a while.  We started the presents with some fun White Elephant gift exchange.  This is a fairly new tradition, but I am pretty sure we will keep doing it for years to come.  It's safe to say we had some fun there.

It took a while, but uncle Ryan was finally able to convince Kate that he was an okay guy.  I don't know why she gets so shy, but by the end of the night she was lovin' him.

We had a pretty fun evening, but had to leave since it was Kate's bedtime. She fell asleep on the way home so luckily we had her in her jammies already so we could sneak her in to bed when we got home.
