Second Post of the Year! February 2014 Happenings

I have historically posted many times during the year so I can't believe this is only my second post this year.  We have had a lot going and have been kept pretty busy. 

In February we went to my parent's house at Bear Lake.  There was lots of snow.  We were the first to arrive from our family and it was late at night.  This meant the driveway down from the road to the house was not plowed and was pretty deep.  We got stuck at the top of the hill and had to put the kids on sleds and drag them down.  They kept falling off and were not happy.  It was a fiasco to say the least, but we got everyone inside and brought in the essentials to sleep.  Then everyone came behind us and helped them bring in their things since they got stuck behind us.

That driveway did provide some fun the next day, though, once it was plowed and nice and icy!  the little kids went sledding on the driveway and the big kids went sledding down the road!
