This weekend was full of running and fun! On Friday evening we hurried home from work, got ready, drove to Matt's sister, Annie's house to pick her up and drove to Eagle Mountain where their parents live. We quickly ate our hamburgers, packed ourselves up in our car and drove to the Lehi rodeo. Matt's mom has a handicap sign so we were able to park right next to the entrance. Score!! I have been to the Days of '47 Rodeo, but for some reason this rodeo was a lot more fun. The weather was awesome, but the metal seats were not. My bum was numb by the end, but it was worth it. On the way home we drove his parents back home, then we had to drop by Smith's to buy some goodie making stuff for the next morning.
After the blessing we went home and changed into running around clothes. We went shopping at the Sportsman's Wearhouse and the Distribution Center. By that time it was time to eat and we just happened to be by my favorite restaurant El Chalan (Peruvian), so that's where we ate. After eating a lot we got on Trax on 21st South (I have a free Trax pass from being a student at the U) and headed up to the Art's Festival where we had free tickets as well because my work was one of the sponsers. We provided the first aid. It was soooo hot I thought I was going to pass out. There were a lot of cool things there. If I had more money than I knew what to do with, I'd know what to do with it :) People really do have some great talents. We stayed about a couple of hours and then headed on the Trax line to the Gateway where we used some free movie tickets to see Get Smart. It was a really funny movie, but I was so tired I wanted to fall asleep. On our way home we realized we had no milk or bread so had to stop by the grocery store.
