Holiday! Yea!!!

I love holidays! They should be EVERY day, don't ya think? They are fun. Last Thursday on the 3rd Matt and I headed downtown on TRAX to the U stadium where we watched the Real Salt Lake soccer game. We didn't get there til half time, but it was still tonz of fun. Have you ever been to one of those games? If not, you are missing out. After the game we hurried back to our TRAX station so we wouldn't miss the last train and there we watched the fireworks from the stadium. They were gorgeous. It's kinda a bummer, though because I don't feel the excitement and amusement that I used to when I was a kid. I miss that.

Friday we went with Matt's family and saw the movie Hancock at the Jordan Landing theater. It was a pretty good movie. On our way there I slipped down a mud hill and got my sandals and feet all muddy. Thank goodness I didn't fall on my behind, but we were late and I tracked mud everywhere. Oh well, I guess.

After the movie we drove around and looked at homes for sale. It was like every other one in one neighborhood. It's pretty sad that the economy and market is this bad, but it's good for me. I hope we find something soon. I'm anxious.

Saturday Matt worked and my day was full of doing whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. Sounds like freedom, eh? So what did I do? Clean and do laundry, of course. How much fun am I?

Sunday I got a new calling, but it's really not new to me. I am the Relief Society Pianist. I quite enjoy this calling and was excited to be doing it again.

So that was my holiday weekend!
