The Hawkins Family

We finally got the Internet! Yea! I have missed it. Now hopefully I can post more often. A lot has happened in the last little while. The biggest and most time consuming is that I got a promotion to Benefits Administrator at my company. I am currently working both my new job and my old job while they find a replacement. This means for long days and weekends for a while.

Our holidays were great. We spent Christmas Eve day with Matt's family. This day is full of fun family traditions including going to a movie, eating out, then heading back to Matt's parent's house for presents, games and more food.

We spent our first Christmas morning in our new house. We got a new laptop computer, which was by far the best present. We then had breakfast with my family at my parent's house and then played games with Shaun and Lindsey. We tried to get a bite to eat for lunch, but everywhere was closed except Panda Express. After lunch/dinner we went to another movie just the two of us.

New Year's was full of errands and play time. I am in love with decorating for the holidays, so of course I took down the Christmas on New Year's and put up the Valentine's stuff on Saturday. I made a cute block decoration that spells LOVE. It is so cute if I do say so myself. It was a great weekend!
