Swimming

We took Katie swimming one Friday morning early.  Early like 7:30 am.  It was SO much fun!  There weren't too many people there so it was nice to be able to go and do what we wanted.  At first Kate was terrified!!  She clung to us so tight.  She didn't cry, though, just held us. We slowly worked our way in to it by going through the lazy river a couple of times.  Then something just sparked and she was loving it.  She was kicking in the water and splashing water in her face and she didn't mind at all.  She was actually laughing.

Her favorite was the little slide.  We had to really be right there with her because she wasn't scared at all anymore and just went right for anything.  She wanted to go over and over and over.

Whenever we go for walks with three of us she says "two," meaning throw her back and forth (one, two, three).  It was a lot easier in the pool and she loved it.

Here she is being "brave."  She would just keep walking poking her head up.  So surprising for our careful little girl.

The South Jordan rec center daycare had a little bunny for Easter and she was quite smitten with it.  So before and after swimming we went and visited it.

On our way home eating goodies.  I asked her to say "hi" and she waved. :)
