Easter Weekend

After our day of fun swimming and exploring City Creek we had another full day planned for Easter Weekend starting off with our annual neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. It was really fun this year because she is finally at an age where she "gets" it. She loves to put things in containers around the house so this was perfect for her.

After hunting we went over to Kneaders for breakfast - Yum!  We had a nap then headed over to my parents for their annual party.  The kids were split in to age groups since there are 14 grandkids between the ages of 1 and 13.  My mom had cute things for them to hunt for like Capri-Sun.

We then had lunch, decorated cookies, and played outside.

The Easter Bunny "hid" Kate's basket (on the couch) which took her several minutes to figure out was there, but when she did she was so excited.  She dumped the whole thing on the ground and picked out her favorite things.  After church we tried to take pictures, but she was not interested.  These were the best we could get.

After church we had dinner with Matt's family followed by a dinner at my parent's house.  We are so lucky to have such great family so close so we can celebrate the holidays together.
