Three Months

Amelia is three months old already!  That is so crazy!  Why oh why does she have to grow up so fast?  I am really enjoying her sweet spirit and smiles.  I told Matt we needed to nickname her "Smiley."

 

At three months Amelia:

 

Smiles all of the time.  She opens her mouth really wide when she does.  Oh so cute.

 

 

Sleeps really well at night - goes to bed around 8 pm and wakes at 7 am only waking once per night around 4 or 5.  Every once in a while she will sleep right through until 7 am.  This really surprises me because Katie wasn't doing this until she was around 9 months old.  Yippee!  This is awesome.

 

Struggles at nap time.  This may be because she sleeps so well at night.  She goes to sleep quite easily, but has a hard time sleeping past the half hour mark.

 

Is rolling over constantly.  She started doing this about two weeks ago.  She rolls from her back to her tummy, turning to the right.  She hasn't rolled over to the left or from her tummy to her back yet, but she's working on it.

 

Eats about every 3 1/2 to 4 hours during the day time.  She nurses in the morning and evening and drinks pumped milk  in a bottle during the day.  She did quite well switching back and forth to a bottle.

 

Enjoys bath time.  This is where she giggles.  I don't know what gets her, but I sure do love it!

 

Is grabbing things such as her blanket and some toys around her, but does not have a very strong grip just yet.

 

Loves to be around people and noise.
