Sunday, May 5th was a very special day for our family. We were able to have Amelia receive a name and a blessing. Days like this really help me realize how blessed I am to be a mom and to have the experience to love, nurture, and teach these precious little ones. I am truly honored to be this little girl's mom!!
After Matt was able to give Amelia her blessing with many family and friends in attendance, we headed back to our home for a luncheon complete with hamburgers, chips, veggie tray, fruit, and pasta salad. Of course purple was involved!!
Matt was in charge of grilling.
Matt's sister Annie makes the most amazing cupcakes. She made these and they were so pretty and best of all, VERY yummy! These are actually double cupcakes - basically twice as big as regular cupcakes.
