We were also grateful this past week because for about 2 and a half weeks the doctor put him on orders not to have contact with baby Kate and me (because I am nursing) because she did not know what the exact bacteria was that was causing the infection. They were able do a culture after the surgery to find out we weren't in harms way so Yeah! We could then give daddy a big hug! It was definitely a rough few weeks for all of us...and has been a rough couple of months as well. We are hoping for a fast recovery so Matt can start walking again.
On a different note, last weekend we decided we had been responsible enough the past couple of years with our tax return that we could get something fun...a new table!!! We are so excited and love having it in our home. Our previously table was a hand-me-down game table from my parents, which we were extremely grateful for, but with our small nook area, the large comfy chairs were getting in the way.
Kate had fun helping daddy out.
