South Jordan Fair

We went to the South Jordan fair this past August. It was a fun and cheap way to spend a Saturday, even though it was soooo hot!

Her favorite part, of course, was the free petting zoo.  She wanted to pet all of them and did not want to leave.  She absolutely loves animals.    One actually moved and pushed her over and she fell.  It was kind of funny, but she didn't think so :).

 

We also looked around at the bigger animals in the pens such as the pigs and cows. I am such a city girl that I really think they are huge! We saw the auction for the pigs and it was quite interesting to see all of the people bidding on them.

We also saw a hawk demonstration.  Katie was a little scared at first, but was mesmorized by it.

 

Our camera died, but after looking at all of the animals we headed over to the ride area.  We decided not to spend money on them, but they were fun to look at.  We did get popcorn and a snowcone to share.  They weren't very good, but it was fun anyway.
