Zoo Fun

One Saturday morning we decided to head to the zoo.  We went last year for the 4th of July and so this was our second time with Katie.  With her being a whole year older she was a lot more in to it, which made it fun.  She loves animals so this was perfect.

 

She also quite enjoyed playing on the playground they have there.

Last year we took the cutest picture of her standing in front of these.  She was the same exact size as the infant.  This year, however, she refused as you can see in the picture below.  She wasn't even happy standing with me in front of it.

 

The highlight was the elephant show.  We sat on the front row and she danced to the music they played.

Here we are watching the tigers.  it was almost feeding time so they were pacing on the bridge waiting for their food.

 

We went to see the seals and it was perfect timing.  No one was there.  About 2 minutes after we got there they started a show so we had a perfect view.

 

I thought it would be fun to get a picture of her in this nest...she didn't think so. 

 

Katie loves trains so we made sure that was a part of the experience.  I sure wish it was longer, though.
