Annual Bear Lake Trip

This summer we had our annual Reynolds family trip to Bear Lake. This year we stayed in a tent with Katie for the very first time. We were quite nervous to see how she would sleep at night and with her naps because we would not be the only ones in a tent and she is a very light sleeper....but she was awesome! We got a new tent this year since it wasn't quite big enough for us and Katie. It has a little sheet as a wall to seperate us from her and it fit us quite well.

We went up on Wednesday late morning. I was super excited because this would be when I would tell my family that we were expecting baby #2!  After hanging out for a while once we got there, put up our tent and got set up, I put Katie in her "Big Sister" T-Shirt and just waited for people to react to it.  It was fun and exciting and a perfect time to tell everyone in my family at once.

Katie was really enjoying the tent, especially going in and out.  We had to make sure the zipper was at the very top to keep her in.

She was also very enthrolled with the tractor we use to put the boat and watercraft in the water.  it was very cute!  She quite enjoyed the boat and the wind in her face as we drove.

The beach was perfect this year.  just small enough to be so close to the lot, but enough room to set up a tent and some chairs to stay shaded while the kiddos played.  katie loved throwing rocks in the water.

We got a small raft for Katie to play in.  She wasn't too in to it this year, but it was still nice to have.

The last morning we decided to go for a walk to visit my parents' new lot just up the road from the current lot.  It was a fun little exploring experience. 

We have lots of fun this trip playing in the water, visiting with family, and just enjoying the scenery.
